Day 7
Today we did a phenomenal amount of activities. We first took a car to a very small pier, then we took a speedboat to a remote island. The island was hostile enough, but the sea below it housed an enormous amount of coral (perfect for snorkeling) Then, we took the speedboat to another island to do some sightseeing. What was there to see? There was a magnificent lagoon, beaming a bright turquoise. After that, there was another short trip to another island, where our guide cooked lunch. After eating lunch, we went kayaking off the island, unfortunately, the swell was heavy so moving even 1 meter in the water was tough. The last part of our day was the most exciting. We rode ATV's! Then we headed back home.
My view about the boat trip:
If you get seasick easily, this isn’t the ideal place for you. It’s an extremely bumpy ride, sometimes it even feels like you’re in mid-air. There is a box of free refreshments on the boat, with 4 types of soft drinks and bottles of water. If you want to experience the feeling of fast heart pumping, then you’ll like this. You can also feel the spray in your face. The driver doesn’t mind fast speeds, so the up’s and down’s you experience while taking a normal boat is the same, only the motions are like in fast-forward. Have a great time taking the Sea Safari speedboat!

The fast and furious speedboat
My view about kayaking:
It’s a wonderful experience! Imagine you’re surfing. Well, the sea is so high that you’ll feel like you’re surfing! The waves tower over you, then lifts you up like a lift taking a person up. Then you’ll drop down again, to experience the same thing again! It’s like a rollercoaster ride, except it’s natural! There are high black cliffs of sandstone towering over you, and after that, you’ll spot a lush green island, where the fast paddlers can go right up to the island, and the slow paddlers can see from a distance. It’s an experience you’ll never forget!
My view about the ATV’s:
Although I have mentioned that I have ridden in an ATV earlier in my trip, the course at the Sea Safari headquarters is much larger. It’s ridden with bumps and dips, and if you’re willing, you can gun up the motor and experience some short air! There is still one disadvantage though, you are only allowed to go round the track a few times. But, people can lend you their time. So have a great time at Sea Safari’s ATV course!
