Day 5

Today was awesome! I woke up and ate breakfast (which was instant noodles, as always). Then we set off to the first activity of the day, driving ATV’s! An ATV is sort of like a cross between a jeep and a go-cart. Driving through the bumpy dirt tracks was like riding a distressed horse! Then we headed for the classic of Thailand, riding an elephant! It was amazing to be on top of 1 ton of meat and muscle. After that, we drove to a scenic place called ‘Grandma and Grandpa’ which was two rocks that were shaped like a penis and a virgina (how disgusting for a tourist feature). Then we headed back to our hotel.

My view of the ATV:

This buckling crazy ATV takes you at your preferred speed through a huge jungle track! Enjoy the lush undergrowth as you speed along the adventurous dirt track! Go through 4 types of track which are labeled A,B,C and D. A is the hardest, I couldn’t enter it because it was to dangerous for me. Track B is also extremely dangerous, so I couldn’t enter either. Track C I was able to enter. It has 5 ramps in total. There is a bridge that goes up, and then a dizzying drop down. Track D is the easiest, but even that has large ramps strewn along the beginning of the track. It is only for people who have nerves of solid wood or harder. 

Adventurous ATV driving

My view of the elephant ride:

 Imagine riding on 1 ton of pure hard muscle. That pretty much describes what it’s like to ride on an elephant. The even more unbelievable part is that you are suspended about 3 meters above the ground. You ride to 2 waterfalls, the second one is the tallest. People like to swim in the cool, fresh water and enjoy the spray showering them. It’s a place fit for kings!

My view of the Grandma and Grandpa rock:

 

Okay, so it’s a bit disgusting. But you can also admire the huge waves crashing onto the shore of the island. There is a hole near the Grandpa rock, and it’s like a mini geyser, spewing out a huge fountain of spray from it’s little hole. The Grandma rock is really hard to find, but, who cares! I don’t want you to see this disgusting feature!
